Although Funko is a brand that caters to fans across many genres, we sought to create a dedicated space specifically for anime enthusiasts. In April 2024, we launched Funime, a supplemental social channel designed to spotlight fan-focused anime content. When developing the brand identity for this new platform, it was essential to reflect the vibrant and energetic aesthetics of popular series like My Hero Academia and Demon Slayer. By integrating bold colors, dynamic compositions, and iconic motifs, we aimed to create a visually engaging experience that mirrors the excitement and intensity of the anime world. The result is a channel that not only celebrates anime culture but also connects deeply with fans, offering them a space where their passion for anime is celebrated.
